Thumbnail

The thumbnail is the cover image people see before they play your video.

Design your thumbnail

1. Choose the background. Slide along the video to pick a moment, or click Upload image to use your own picture.
2. Edit the text. The first text is your video title. Click a text on the image to change it.
3. Move and shape the text. Drag a text to move it. The round handle on top rotates it, and the handle in the corner resizes it.
4. Click Add text for more texts, or Remove this text to delete one.

Texts always stay inside the image. Long texts wrap onto new lines.

Use the first frame instead

If you do not need a designed cover, choose Skip, use first frame.

How the thumbnail is used

When you publish, the thumbnail can be added as the very first frame of the video, so the networks show it as the cover. On the video page you can change the thumbnail later with Upload image or go back with Use first frame.
